The Seniors Program now addresses the nutritional needs of a more diverse senior adult community in 8 different sites throughout Essex County.  An aggressive on-going recruiting campaign continues to identify and register seniors so that they can take advantage of the myriad of services available to them.

A comprehensive array of services is offered in our headquarters in a friendly cultural environment to help improve a senior’s overall quality of life.  Some of the services provided include a nutrition program, recreational and educational activities and transportation.

The goal of this program is to promote better health among older adults through improved nutrition and education.  Congregate nutrition helps to reduce the isolation of older persons by offering them an opportunity to participate in social and recreational activities.
